Every year FLL decides on a theme to challenge LEGO Robotics team members to find a solution to one of the many problems in this field, this year the theme is Bio-medical engineering. Our team worked with each other to discover a real world problem connected to their field, one of the problems that we decided to work on is the fitting of robotic limbs. We decided to focus our research on fitting prosthetic limbs Our solution is called the sensor sock, the sensor sock is mainly for legs. our sensor sock has a grid of sensors that can tell where there is too much or too little pressure on a person's stump it will let the Prosthetist ( the person that designs robotic limbs ) know the pressure points with blue tooth technology to make a more comfortable fit for the patient. The project is one fourth of LEGO Robotics scoring.
